How SEO Works?
SEO works in three simple steps.
#Step 1 Crawling:
The search engine is a complex algorithm (computerized program), these complex algorithms are called spiders or bots who go out to crawl (scanning) websites on the internet.
Spiders find new websites and pages by following links added on the website and once a new page is found the spider or bots program reads all the content including page Meta title, URL, Description along with page content and Images.
#Step 2 Indexing:
After Crawling all the data it stores in a huge online data library in encoded format to save space called “Index“
#Step 3 Matching:
In the last step when a user types a query on a search engine search bar, the search engine algorithm triggers as goes back to indexed data library to fetch the required information.
In most cases, the search engine would have millions of matching information, so it uses an algorithm or program to determine in which order to display the results.
The search engine displays the information in less than a second on SERP (Search Engine Results Page) And it gives better positions to those websites, who update their website with new & unique content regularly & also follow the ranking factors.
